Effective as of 15th of December 2023

Data Controller (“we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy and wants you to be familiar with how we collect, use and disclose data directly or indirectly relating to you as an individual (the “Personal Data”). This Privacy Policy describes how we process your Personal Data collected in relation to the system available through https://app.dedicatedid.com (hereinafter: Website)

We are based in Hungary, a member of the European Union. Our processing of Personal Data is subject to the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation; the “GDPR”) and Act CXII of 2011 on the right to informational self-determination and on the freedom of information (“Infotv.”).

Definitions

Data Controller:

The below stated company providing the Service.

Data Subject:              

Any natural person whose data is collected, held, or processed.

Personal Data:

Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (Data subject); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

Personal Data processing:

Any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

Data Processor:

A natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller.

Recipient:

A natural or legal person, public authority, agency or another body, to which the personal data are disclosed, whether a third party or not.

Third Party:

A natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the Data Subject, Data Controller, or Data Processor and persons who are authorized to process personal data under the direct authority of the Data Controller or Data Processor.

Consent of the Data subject:

Any freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of the Data subject’s wishes by which he or she, by a statement or by clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of Personal Data relating to him or her.

Service:

The Website and related services operated by the Data Controller for the purpose of giving the ability to its Users to hide their online identity at Third Party Sites as well as for the purpose to provide other related services to its Users.


User:

Any natural person who accesses the System to use the Service.

  1. What Personal Data do we collect and how do we use your Personal Data

Our data control activity in the cases specified below is based on the following legal bases:

  1. Data management related to the provision of the Service

During registration we ask Users to provide private, or company e-mail address and phone number. In case the company e-mail address or telephone number cannot be linked a natural person (e.g. office@companyname.com or central office number), it does not qualify as personal data.

If you request the deletion of the User's account, the User account together with the personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days from the User's declaration in accordance with the backup deletion cycle.

Data subjects: Registered Users using the Service.

Types of processed personal data:

  • Name, 

  • Email,

  • Birthdate,

  • Gender,

  • Address,

  • Phone number.

Purpose of the processing: To enable Data Controller to deliver the Services to its Users, including enforcing applicable terms and conditions, and to enable Data Controller to provide customer service to its Users (e.g. trouble shooting).

Duration of the processing: During the term while the User’s account exists. User’s account will be deleted after six months of inactivity.

Basis for the processing: If the User registers as an individual or a sole trader the processing is based on GDPR Article 6 (1) b): performance of a contract. If User registers on behalf of a company the processing is based on GDPR Article 6 (1) f): the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party.

 

  1. Data management in connection with Customer service

The Data subject has the right to withdraw his or her consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the consent-based data processing prior to withdrawal.


Data subjects: Anyone contacting the customer service via e-mail.

Types of processed personal data:

  • Name (optional, it depends on the person’s e-mail settings),

  • Email,

  • any personal data, mentioned in the textbox.

Purpose of the processing: Answering the questions, solving the problems, traceability. Improving the customer experience.

Duration of the processing: If the consent is not withdrawn, the Data Controller shall process personal data for a 5 year term (in accordance with Section 6:22 (1) of Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code (“Ptk.”)). This duration ensures that the Data Controller can pursue and enforce its civil law claims and can defend against any civil law claims of the subjects.

Legal basis of processing: GDPR Article 6 (1) a): consent of the Data subject.


  1. Newsletter related data management

Data subjects: Anyone who has subscribed to the dedicatedID newsletter and has consented explicitly to processing of his/ her personal data.

Types of processed personal data:

·   e-mail,

·   name.

Purpose of the processing: To send more information, newsletters about dedicatedID services, which can qualify as a direct marketing message.

Duration of the processing: The User can withdraw its consent any time in the “User settings” menu. If the consent is not withdrawn, the Data Controller shall process personal data for a 2-year term.

Legal basis of processing: GDPR Article 6 (1) a): consent of the Data subject.

 

  1. Data management related to anonymized log files 

For optimized system performance, GDPR compliant operation, security of processing and to retrieve system events, Data Controller automatically collects and stores so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. The logs contain only anonymized data and are stored on servers operated by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). This information includes system components, error names, database ID generated by us, etc.. This data is not pooled with sources of personal data.

  • The Website uses cookies to record the fact that the visitor accepted the cookie/privacy policy. This data has to be erased after 1 year.

  1. Your rights related to Your Personal Data

You have certain rights regarding your Personal Data, subject to local data protection laws. As regards our processing of your Personal Data which is subject to the GDPR, you have the right:

  • to obtain from us the confirmation whether we process your Personal Data and to access your Personal Data, including the details of such processing, as specified in Article 15 of the GDPR, and to obtain a copy of your Personal Data;

  • if inaccurate, to rectification and completion of your Personal Data in accordance with Article 16 of the GDPR;

  • to demand that we erase your Personal Data (the right to be forgotten) on the grounds specified in Article 17 of the GDPR (including if the processing of your Personal Data is no longer necessary for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy);

  • to restrict our processing of your Personal Data on the grounds as set forth in Article 18 of the GDPR (for example, if you contest the accuracy of the Personal Data, the processing may be restricted until we verify the accuracy of the Personal Data);

  • if our processing of your Personal Data is based on our legitimate interest, to object to any further processing on the grounds relating to your particular situation in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR;

  • to receive your Personal Data from us (right to data portability), to transmit such Personal Data to another data controller or to have us transmit your Personal Data to another data controller in accordance with Article 20 of the GDPR;

  • to lodge a complaint regarding our processing of your Personal Data with the local data protection authority.

  1. Transfer of Personal Data

We do not transfer any Personal Data to Third Parties except the cases where the data transfer is mandatory to a public authority, agency or body by law.  



In case you visit any Third-party site or application when you use our Service, the Service only helps fillilling out online forms and data fields in the User’s browser by the User, which service does not implement data transfer.

We are responsible to comply with this policy regarding the visit and use of our Service. 

This Privacy Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy, information or other practices of any third-party operating any site to which the Service contains a link. In case you visit another website, even if it is recommended by us on our website, our privacy policy is not applicable, and we are not responsible for the activities of, and content available on such websites. The inclusion of a link to another site on the Service does not imply endorsement of the linked site by us.

The data processing shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Hungarian laws.

Due to the global character of the Internet, you undertake to proceed in compliance with the provisions of all applicable national measures in the course of using the Service. If any activity related to using the Service is not permitted according to the laws of your country, you shall exclusively bear responsibility for such usage.
